Activity timeline

A readable account of the work.

Dayflow turns captured screen observations into activity cards. Each card brings related work together with a title, a summary, and the time it occupied.

  • Browse the continuous daily agenda and select an activity to read its details.
  • Inspect the category and captured context behind an activity.
  • Use the record to return to a work session without reconstructing it from memory.

Daily and weekly recaps

From individual moments to the bigger picture.

Recap summarizes recorded activity for a selected day or week. It shows tracked time, activity counts, category distribution, and top apps.

  • Compare how recorded time is distributed across categories.
  • Read app durations alongside the category breakdown.
  • Return to the timeline when you need the detail behind an overview.

Grounded, read-only chat

A question, with its context.

Ask about the activity in your timeline. Chat can help you find a session, summarize part of a day, or explore the context behind a block of time.

  • Follow citations back to the supporting activity.
  • Ask about a day, a category, or a stretch of focus.
  • Chat reflects the record; it does not change files or send messages for you.

Provider choice

Use an account you already have.

The verified onboarding choices are Claude Code and Codex CLI. Dayflow invokes the selected local CLI for analysis, using its existing provider account.

  • Install and authenticate your selected CLI with its provider tooling.
  • Choose the provider in Dayflow; its credentials stay with that tooling.
  • Relevant activity information is sent for analysis under the provider’s terms and usage limits.

Cloud Wiki

Reference pages with an offline mirror.

Cloud Wiki organizes observations about people, projects, companies, and concepts into reference pages. It is a cloud-backed feature with a local mirror for the reader.

  • Read Markdown pages, follow links, and explore tags.
  • The local mirror makes previously synchronized pages available offline.
  • Cloud storage and processing are distinct from the local activity timeline.

About the browser preview

An illustrative way to explore.

The interactive examples on this website are recreations using prepared activity. They help explain the product without installing the Mac app.

  • No screen capture or live provider account is connected here.
  • Recap values are calculated from the sample activity shown in the examples.
  • Chat uses prepared answers; provider settings only change the example.
